Ashley S. Goddard, MS, L.Ac.

Ash Goddard, M.S., Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Chinese Herbologist (NCCAOM), was classically trained in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and has been practicing in Bellingham, WA, since the year 2000. She now has an additional office in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. She has studied Five Element theory and practice with Lonny Jarrett and over the last nine years of practice she has also furthered her studies in the areas of Japanese acupuncture, cranio-sacral therapy, Acutonics and others. An eclectic approach to the practice of Chinese Medicine allows for the application of various theories according to the needs of an individual patient in hopes of creating constitutional healing--healing that occurs at our deepest, most enduring level to inspire greater integrity in living a healthy, conscious life.

She has also taken a special interest in injury treatment as well as sports acupuncture and treats many athletes--especially runners.

Ash comes from a family of health care providers and is committed not only to the practice of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) but also its future representation in the greater medical and legal systems in Washington and beyond. 

“My patients receive highly individualized care by means of acupuncture, herbal medicine, or a combination of these and other modalities. While Chinese Medicine is indeed considered a complete system of medicine addressing a wide array of disorders and imbalances there are times when I feel a patient would benefit from other types of healthcare and I have a solid network of practitioners with whom I work regularly. These include practitioners of naturopathy, massage, chiropractic and also western medicine.”
