My goal is to provide excellent, compassionate natural health care and pain management to the communities of northwest Washington state through continual learning and a commitment to meaningful collaboration with patients' willing allied health providers.
Ash Goddard, M.S., East Asian Medicine Practitioner (Licensed Acupuncturist) was trained in Santa Fe, NM, at Southwest Acupuncture College where she obtained her master's degree in the year 2000. She is a Diplomate of both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology (NCCAOM).
Ash is proud to be serving as the acting President of the Washington State East Asian Medicine Association (WEAMA) where she works both in a general capacity and directly on legislative and membership affairs. The association is currently working on gaining L&I coverage for acupuncture, which we hope to achieve during the next legislative session.
Ash comes from a family of health care providers and is committed not only to the practice of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) but also its future representation and inclusion in the greater medical systems in Washington and beyond.
In her free time, Ash will be found camping and backpacking in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and mountain biking and trail running all year round. She is very grateful to live in the best small city in the world!
She has furthered her studies in many areas including the following:
Continuing education coursework includes:
All this of may sound like a lot but Ash believes there is always more to learn and ways to be better. Chinese medicine is a vast subject and there is much to learn and understand.
